Table settings at Penrose Room are as elegant as the rest of the Five-Star restaurant. Lined with handsomely upholstered chairs, tables are sumptuously bedecked in pale gold linen cloths with matching napkins; white china edged in blue and gilt complete with charger and silencer; small table lamps and flower arrangements; salt dips and pepper grinders; and of course, all the appropriate stemware as well as water glasses. Entrées arrive at the table in silver cloches, giving each dish an added air of formality. You’ll find the same wonderful style throughout Penrose Room’s main dining room and all its private dining rooms — plus a few added perks, such as access to a balcony overlooking Cheyenne Mountain in the private rooms.
The place settings at Penrose Room include a base plate with a linen logo silencer in between it and a clear gold edge finale base plate. White china edged in royal blue and gold, cobalt water glass, Riedel wine glasses and gold lint-free linens adorn the table. Table lamps, live florals, salt dips and pepper grinders fill the center of the table.
