XV Beacon’s suite bathrooms are made of white Italian marble and have princess-style sinks. They are clean, fresh and pure. The bathrooms come with signature amenities — shampoo, conditioner, body wash, body lotion, lip balm and hand soap — Frette robes and towels, LCD TVs, heated towel racks, a hairdryer, a magnifying mirror, a sewing kit, a shower cap, a razor, Q-tips and a digital scale. The rainforest showerheads allow for amazing water flow. Jacuzzi tubs are in the studio and traditional rooms. -

The beds at XV Beacon are, in a word, inviting. Covered with plush pillows (although guest can select from a variety of types), 400-thread-count Frette linens and cashmere throws, the beds are soothing and supportive. -

What is involved in XV Beacon’s turndown service?
Blinds drawn, bed turned down, towels and amenities replenished. A flower, along with a weather and breakfast card, is left on the bed. Your clothes are folded and items straightened up. Background music is turned on and ice replenished; and, upon request, the fireplace can be turned on or rose petals can be sprinkled in the room. -

Does XV Beacon have a house car or limousine service?
Yes. We have two Lexus house cars for complimentary service: a GX and a LS Hybrid. A limousine service can be arranged for longer transportation requests. -

What is the best time of the year to visit XV Beacon?
XV Beacon is great to visit during all seasons. In winter for the fireplaces and comfort; spring for the Boston Marathon; summer to enjoy the roof deck; and fall to experience New England foliage.

Finsilver got her start in the industry in at Marriott Long Wharf Hotel in Boston, as Director of Guest Services that included her induction into Les Clef’s d’Or, USA. Ms. Finsilver moved on to Chief Concierge at Four Seasons Hotel Boston. She first joined XV Beacon on the opening team as Assistant General Manager in 1999. She then moved on to Director of Sales & Special Events at The Olive Group, operated by Chef Todd English. Prior to rejoining XV Beacon, she most recently served as Operations and Marketing Manager at The Sports Club/LA at Ritz Carlton. Finsilver lends her expertise outside the hospitality realm as well, consulting on customer service and sales for companies such as Herb Chambers and the Rallye Motors Group. She also dedicates her free time to fundraising for the MSPCA Angell Hospital, Young Professionals of the Boston Public Library and the American Heart Association. Born in New York City and raised in Westchester, Finsilver earned a BBA with a focus on Finance from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. She has lived in Beacon Hill for the past 13 years
