What is the view like from the treatment rooms at Woodlands Spa?

Each of our treatments rooms were designed with the utmost comfort, privacy and relaxation in mind. Many treatments rooms are private, enclosed spaces with no windows, as our focus is on privacy and comfort. The atmosphere of our treatment rooms can be described as Zen-like retreats with soft lighting, candles and peaceful nature sounds, all of which are adjustable to the guest’s satisfaction.

Our Salon does have large picture window that overlooks our Healing Garden’s lush plantings, reflecting pond and mystical Lynman Whitaker Wind Sculptures, which is made of cooper and stainless steel pieces. These Wind Sculptures are thought to provide beauty and strength to all those that take in their presence.

What are the best treatments at Woodlands Spa?

    1. Transformation Facial. Both luxurious and deeply effective, this is the ultimate beginning for your anti-aging journey. This treatment leaves you with a vibrant glow on your face, neck and décolleté. This micro-smoothing treatment is great for diminishing fine lines and wrinkles. Our specialized massage techniques help to lift, firm, tone and sculpt the facial muscles for a youthful look. This service also includes a pampering treatment for both hands and feet. 80 minutes.

    2. Woodlands Hot Stone Shirodhara. The ultimate in bliss! Our soothing warm stone massage combined with Ayurvedic oils sets the tone for altered states of tranquility. Special oils are streamed on the “third eye,” causing the mind to become still and peaceful. Healing energy work is added to bring the body into balance, allowing the mind to float away and the spirit to soar. 110 minutes.

    3. Lomi Lomi Massage (Ancient Hawaiian Massage). Experience the art of this ancient Hawaiian massage ritual passed down from generation to generation. Lomi Lomi uses full body massage strokes that travel the length of the body in soothing waves, enabling you to relax, give in and simply be. This sacred practice incorporates movement, breath, dance and the healing power of intention. Due to the free flowing nature of this service and the unique draping style, the Lomi Lomi is recommended for experienced spa goers. 80 minutes.

    4. Dream Catcher. The Dream Catcher is a unique blend of Native American healing techniques and ancient Hawaiian Lomi Lomi massage. This treatment will take you to a place found only in your dreams. It promotes deep relaxation and allows the body to heal from within. The goal of the Dream Catcher is to cleanse the spirit, quiet the mind and heal the soul, so that your visions and dreams can come to fruition without interruption. 105 minutes.

    5. Water Path Ritual. A Woodlands Spa signature therapy, the “Water Path” will stimulate circulation and improve immune functions while enhancing energy and feelings of well-being. Alternating water temperatures along the path will improve blood and lymph flow. Next, you are escorted to a Swiss shower followed by a relaxing soak in our mineral spa filled with therapeutic salts from the Sarvar Springs of Hungary. The therapy ends with a cool Swiss shower rinse. (Swimsuits are required.) 25 minutes.
