On May 24T. Colm O’Callaghan answered the question:Trump International Hotel & Tower Chicago first opened its doors in January of 2008 as an entirely brand new building and hotel. Located on the site of the former Chicago Sun-Times building, the hotel was built from the ground up as a new building. Towering 92 stories high, it is as bright and shiny four years later as it was that first day. Inside, guests will find state-of-the-art facilities that give the hotel even more of a contemporary, new feel.
As part of the hotel’s continuous rooms maintenance program, it is always being updated and kept in its best condition. Rooms are continually repainted, furniture replaced and catering space reorganized. As a leader in the luxury hotel industry, Trump Chicago prides itself on staying ahead of the curve in every respect.
On May 24T. Colm O’Callaghan answered the question:There’s no such thing as a bad view at Trump International Hotel & Tower Chicago. Every guestroom features 10-foot floor-to-ceiling windows that make up the entire exterior wall of their room. Guestrooms look out on to Lake Michigan, the Chicago River and the famous city skyline. When making a reservation, guests will know right away which view they are reserving, as the view type is part of the room category. For example, rooms will include a description as either: Lake View, River View or City View in the name.
While every view is stunning and each has special features, one of the more exciting views is certainly over Lake Michigan. The suites in the building corner facing east offer a perfect view of Navy Pier. This view is perfect in the summer months for when Navy Pier sets off their weekly firework show at 9:00 p.m. on Wednesdays and Saturdays between Memorial Day and Labor Day. Guests can curl up on the large sofa and watch the stunning display of pyrotechnics from the comfort of their own room.
On May 24T. Colm O’Callaghan answered the question:Beautiful limestone immediately grabs the attention of any guest in the bathroom at Trump International Hotel & Tower Chicago. The full bathroom has a sliding, opaque glass door and a beautiful vanity with plenty of space for everyone to get ready. Spa at Trump toiletries include shampoo, conditioner, face soap, body scrub, body lotion, hand soap and a toothbrush and tooth paste upon request. The in-mirror television brings these bathrooms well into the 21st century and allows guests to take a relaxing bath as they catch up on their favorite show.
One special touch in the guestroom bathrooms are the way the shower and bathtub are enclosed. Both the shower and tub are encased by a glass wall, meaning that the shower area sits immediately outside of the tub. Oftentimes people like to enjoy a quick rinse in the shower after a long bath and this keeps the water contained and is very easy to transfer from one to the other.
The bathrooms in the spa guestrooms are entirely different. They feature an expansive his and hers sink, private area for the toilet and the deepest bathtub most travelers will ever encounter. Lined with LED candles and an exquisite bath caddy for your magazine, drink and other bath necessities, guests will never want to get out of this tub. Speak to a spa therapist and they will be happy to assist you in drawing the perfect bath.
On May 24T. Colm O’Callaghan answered the question:Trump International Hotel & Tower Chicago’s complimentary turndown service predicts your every want and need — preventing you from having to get out of bed to grab something once you have settled into your plush accommodations. Guests will come home to see a myriad of things arranged for their evening. First of all, the bed has been turned down — the decorative pillows have been whisked away, the bedding has been pulled down and pillows have been fluffed. On their pillow they will find an inspirational quote to carry them through the evening. Cold Trump water bottles have been placed on each nightstand, within easy reach to any sleeper. Guests will notice that a small turndown mat and a pair of slippers have been laid out at the head of the bed. Additionally, the room’s television remote has been placed on the nightstand.
For guests staying in our deluxe Spa guestrooms, an additional turn down amenity awaits them. They will find that the lavender-scented eye and neck pillows have been placed in a small warming cabinet, giving them a heavenly scent. Once guests place them over their eyes and around their necks, they will be transported into a place of absolutely relaxation.
From the moment a weary guest enters the room, our turn down service will carry them through a relaxing evening. Furthermore, any additional request can be immediately satisfied.

4. Beyond the guestroom the fourth greatest amenity at Trump Chicago has to be the Spa at Trump. Beyond the spa is the health club featuring an extensive cardio and weight room and a beautiful 75-foot heated indoor pool.
5. Lastly, the best amenity has to be the signature restaurant, Sixteen. With stunning 24-foot floor to ceiling windows, a chandelier made of over 4,000 Swarovski crystals and gourmet plates to match, it is a food lover’s heaven. The culinary adventurers can indulge the chef’s eight course blind tasting menu for a true sampling of epicurean excellence.
On May 24T. Colm O’Callaghan answered the question:The amenities at Trump International Hotel & Tower Chicago are among the best in the city. One of the most notable amenities is that every room, with the exception of the spa guestrooms, has a beautiful, full kitchen. This feature immediately makes guests feel more at home and allows them to really cater their vacation around their own plans. Should they be in town for an extended time, this kitchen frees them from having to eat out all week or if they are looking for a romantic meal in their room, they have everything they need. Another terrific amenity at Trump Chicago is the complimentary Internet in guestrooms. Today’s busy, non-stop world requires a reliable and fast Internet connection. Business or leisure travelers alike all greatly appreciate the reliable wireless and Ethernet capabilities in their room. This amenity ties in perfectly with the other technology amenities in the guestrooms including the in-mirror bathroom television and the Bose stereo system.
Amenities do not end in the room, though, as there are many incredible amenities throughout the rest of the hotel, as well. Most notably is the 6,000-square-foot Health Club that is available free of charge to all hotel and spa guests. Whether guests choose to enjoy an invigorating workout in the cardio room or prefer to lounge poolside, they will have a stunning view of the city and Lake Michigan through the 10-foot floor-to-ceiling windows that line the Health Club. If their furry friends need to work out as well, they need simply only go to the Trump Chicago dog park at the foot of the building.
On May 24T. Colm O’Callaghan answered the question:The bath products available at Trump International Hotel & Tower Chicago are the Spa at Trump’s standard bath amenities. These have been produced for the hotel specifically by a wonderful line from Ontario, Hunter Amenities International. Our products are made with plant derived extracts, and natural lubricants to enhance hair and body. They are free of parabens and petrochemicals; these products will leave guests feeling naturally refreshed and revitalized. The Spa at Trump worked hand in hand with Hunter Amenities International to develop a product that reflected the values of the spa and was in line with their natural and holistic approach to cleansing.
In the room, guests will find shampoo, conditioner, body wash, face wash, hand soap, body butter and an exquisite sugar scrub. All of these products are replaced daily by housekeeping and a great takeaway when guests depart the hotel.
On May 24T. Colm O’Callaghan answered the question:The 75-foot-heated indoor pool at Trump International Hotel & Tower Chicago is an urban haven replete with lush palms and exquisitely comfortable furniture. Available for all swimmers are the traditional pool accouterments, like kick boards, foam noodles and pull buoys. Lap lanes are in place all day long so anyone looking for a full workout, need look no further than the pool.
In addition to these amenities, guests can enjoy a lovely meal poolside. The hotel’s in-room dining menu is the only one in the country to have dishes that have been certified organic. Such options are perfect for a light lunch after a relaxing spa treatment or rejuvenating work out. These meals are extremely popular for girls’ weekends — lunch can be arranged for small or large groups.
Beyond working out in the pool or dining poolside, the Spa at Trump happily accommodates and arranges for swim lessons. Available to, both, adults and children, private classes are the best way to quickly develop this important skill. To arrange for a class, guests need just call the spa front desk and they will take care of the rest.
The pool area is also actually a wonderful venue to watch the summer fireworks from, as well. Every summer between Memorial and Labor Day, guests can see the spectacular fireworks from Navy Pier on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
On May 24T. Colm O’Callaghan answered the question:There’s no such thing as a bad room at Trump International Hotel & Tower Chicago but there are certainly some rooms that are extra special. The 10-foot floor-to-ceiling windows found in every room perfectly frame the city outside your window. Perhaps one of the best views is in room 2400. Facing east, this one bedroom suite has a picture-perfect view of Lake Michigan, the Chicago River and puts guests eye-to-eye with the famous Wrigley Clock Tower. This beautiful suite also comes with a working, electric fireplace. There are few things as enjoyable as curling up to the fireplace on a cold, Chicago evening. Guests can additionally enjoy the large, full size kitchen in the suite. If they so choose, we can arrange for our executive chef to cook a private meal in the comfort of the guests’ own room.
Another very special room is 1462. This room, on the spa level of the hotel, is directly connected to the couples’ suite in the Spa at Trump. For a romantic stay-cation, it is an incredibly unique option. Guests can go straight from their bed to the therapy room, featuring two side-by-side massage tables and side-by-side deep soaking infinity tubs. The hotel offers a handful of romantic getaway packages and they are perfectly suited for this room.
On May 24T. Colm O’Callaghan answered the question:From the moment a guest walks into the lobby at Trump International Hotel & Tower Chicago until they lay their head down at night, they will be impressed with every space. Anchored by a look of contemporary finery with detailed touches throughout, Trump International Hotel & Tower Chicago is the next generation of luxury. Every piece of furniture, every appliance has been selected as the best of the best. Two sets of guestrooms, Tower Rooms and Spa Rooms, have two distinct designs. The 286 Tower Rooms have a distinctly residential feel. Bathed in light and dark shades of purple and grey, these rooms have 10-foot floor-to-ceiling windows that put the focus on the beautiful architecture surrounding the building. The 53 spa rooms have a different feel, although still one of plush luxury. These rooms feature more earth tones of light green and beige and have personal yoga mats and in-room weights for guests’ use. These rooms were designed to match the feel of the 23,000 square foot Spa at Trump. The Spa uses the same color palette and uses touches like fresh orchids to complete the look.
The hotel’s public spaces exude similar feelings of decadence. The signature restaurant, Sixteen, has one of the country’s largest Swarovski crystal chandelier hanging in the main dining room. The stunning chandelier is 19 feet long and made up of 19,000 individual crystals. As the sun rises over Lake Michigan, light fills Sixteen through its stunning wall of 24 foot floor to ceiling windows. This natural but specially designed glow makes the room look like a glittering jewel on the Chicago River. A few floors down, is the chic lounge, Rebar. The curved glass bends with the river and gives diners the impression of hovering over the river directly. Reds and yellows are used throughout the room and they mimic the blinking lights of the city outside.
On May 24T. Colm O’Callaghan answered the question:There are so many wonderful things to know about Trump International Hotel & Tower Chicago. Here are the top five:
1. Firstly, guests should know that their room can be completely customized to their liking. By working with our signature Trump Attaché service, they can set the temperature in your room, custom stock your refrigerator, de-feather your room and set up a gaming system to your television.

3. Third, it should be known near and far that the sushi at Rebar is exceptional and not to be missed.
4. Another insider tip for Trump Chicago is that the locker rooms in the health club are outstanding. The Kohler deluge shower uses different colors, music and water strengths to create an entirely unique experience.
5. Lastly, not to be missed at Trump Chicago is the view of the Navy Pier fireworks in the summer. From the east facing rooms and the Terrace at Trump, guests have an incredible, picture-perfect view of the city’s weekly fireworks between Memorial and Labor Day.
On May 24T. Colm O’Callaghan answered the question:Trump International Hotel & Tower Chicago is proud to offer an inclusive rate. Aside from gratuity and tax, the rate a room is reserved at is the final price of the accommodations. There is no resort fee; there are no fees for pets or additional rollaway beds or cribs. Additionally, there is no fee for in-room Internet. The Spa at Trump’s 6,000-square-foot Health Club is also available for hotel guests’ use on an entirely complimentary basis. The hotel proudly offers complimentary shoe-shining services, as well.
