What is the dress code at Café Presse?

Travel Guide Inspector

Café Presse doesn’t have a dress code, per se. The Las Vegas restaurant sits in the heart of restaurant row at the Venetian hotel, between B&B Ristorante and V Bar. It’s a casual eatery and coffee shop that serves up drinks, pastries and light snacks, and its convenient location near the Sands Expo Center means plenty of traffic flows in and out all day long. With that in mind, don’t be intimidated by all the people there in business suits — they’re likely coming from an event at the expo center, and they’re just there for a cup of coffee, too.

Is Café Presse a romantic restaurant?

We wouldn’t qualify Café Presse as being a romantic restaurant. It’s more of a coffee shop, serving espresso-based coffee drinks, teas and soft drinks, as well as pastries, sandwiches and salads. You can sit and enjoy a quick cup of coffee or a sandwich at any of the tables in this Las Vegas eatery, but its high-traffic area and open hallway leading from restaurant row to the Sands Expo Center means there’s always people milling about (i.e. you’ll be hard-pressed to find any privacy here). So with that in mind, you might want to find a more intimate place for your rendezvous — and between the Venetian and the Palazzo, you’ll have plenty of options.

Does Café Presse have a bar?

Café Presse does not have a bar. The Las Vegas restaurant serves coffee, tea, bottled beverages and a number of espresso-based drinks, but you’ll have to go elsewhere for a stiff one. The good news is that you won’t have to go far — V Bar and B&B Ristorante flank Café Presse, and AquaKnox is right across the hall. Each one of these places can help you out if you’re looking to blow the froth off a couple or to have a cocktail before a show. Otherwise, Café Presse serves plenty of bottled beverages, as well as a wide variety of smoothies.

What is the interior design of Café Presse?

Café Presse has an open design to it — really, it’s as much a part of the hall as it is an individual coffee shop. The Las Vegas eatery is located on restaurant row at the Venetian, close to the Sands Expo Center. It’s high foot-traffic location means plenty of people stop by for a quick bite or a coffee on their way to and from convention events. Aside from the countertop where you order, the restaurant has a small area with refrigerated items like soft drinks and parfaits, a small display case with pastries, salads and sandwiches, and a number of tables where you can dig into your goodies. Café Presse has a quaint, coffee shop feel to it, but with a much larger space and hallway surrounding it, which is broken up by a few partitions and stairs.

Café Presse only has about a dozen tables in its small space, so there isn’t exactly a “best table.” The Las Vegas restaurant and coffee shop near the Sands Expo Center inside the Venetian hotel sets out to give you yummy snacks, sandwiches and coffee that can keep you going without slowing you down. If you do feel like resting your feet, you’re more than welcome to pull one of Café Presse’s wicker-backed chairs up to the small café tables that are available. What are the five best things to order at Café Presse?

Café Presse offers you a variety of snacks, drinks and pastries to keep you fueled when you’re on the go. Here are the five best things to order at the Las Vegas coffee shop:

    1. Smoothies: You can mix up to three different flavors into any smoothie, though we’d recommend going with a mix of blueberry and lemon, or mango, orange and piña colada.
    2. Coffee: We realize this isn’t a stretch at a coffee shop, but we thought we should point out Café Presse’s delicious brews anyways. Gets your caffeine fix here with Lavazza coffee or a number of espresso-based drinks, including cappuccinos and café mochas.
    3. Fruit cup: Just hear us out. You’re probably running around Las Vegas — either for fun or for a convention — and often that means a lot of heavy foods. Consider doing something healthy for yourself when you get the opportunity.
    4. Mozzarella and tomato sandwich: Great for an on-the-go meal.
    5. Turkey Cobb salad: When you need a quick meal, this classic salad is big enough to fill you up when you don’t have time to sit and eat.
