The Forbes Travel Guide Four-Star La Belle Vie occupies the space of a former 1920s apartment building and offers two dining options inside: an elegant dining room and a more casual lounge area, each with their own menus. La Belle Vie executive chef and owner Tim McKee is well-regarded for his talent of bringing out ingredients’ intense flavors in each of his dishes. His fresh interpretation of traditional French and Mediterranean cuisine earned him the prestigious 2009 James Beard Award for Best Chef Midwest.
