Where is Post Ranch Inn located?

Post Ranch Inn overlooks the Pacific Ocean with breathtaking vistas that should not be missed. This is one of my favorite hotels in the US.

  • A few things are certain about the Post Ranch Inn — you’ll enjoy a great meal, take in a stunning view, and head home feeling that it was worth every penny. Since you’re surrounded by rustic beauty and a very intimate location, room prices aren’t cheap as they range from $595 to $2,085, depending upon the room type. The average cost of a one-night stay is $1,200. While the price might be higher than what you would typically imagine, you’re getting an entire experience for your money. Activities are included in your stay at here that are designed to entertain, relax and help you appreciate the beauty of the surrounding area. These include guided hikes, star gazing, the chef’s cooking classes and morning yoga. Every morning, wake up to a delicious gourmet breakfast buffet compliments of the inn. Every guest room is equipped with an organic mattress and linens, a wood-burning fireplace, an indoor spa tub and a private deck with view of the ocean or mountains.
  • It would be pretty rough to call and cancel your reservation at Post Ranch Inn, as it offers gorgeous views you have to see to believe, and the amenities at this tranquil destination are unbeatable. But if you have to cancel, the hotel’s staff asks that you give them a 14-day notification. If you happen to forget and don’t call, you’ll lose your deposit, which is a one-night’s deposit plus tax which will be taken at the time of your reservation. Call the ranch directly to cancel to avoid paying such a hefty fee. Trips get canceled and things come up, which we totally understand. But, the two cliff-top infinity pools, morning yoga, mindful movement meditation and guided nature hikes would be motivation enough for us to not let anything get in our way from experiencing Post Ranch Inn’s splendor.
  • Post Ranch Inn’s Four-Star restaurant, Sierra Mar, features a sophisticated atmosphere with natural charm. It’s dedicated to quality, just like the inn. Chef Craig von Foerster serves up seasonal cuisine and offers a four-course prix fixe menu that features only the freshest ingredients. For lunch, you’ll find classic items with an upscale twist such as the roast free range turkey salad sandwich with a rosemary aioli and spiced almonds served on sourdough bread or penne with sausage and fennel roasted tomato, garlic, and parmesan cheese. At dinner, you’ll find dishes such as saffron seafood soup with fresh gulf prawns and wild salmon; and grilled rib eye steak with gruyere potato gratin, bordelaise and chôron sabayon. Regardless of when you dine, Sierra Mar’s menu features the freshest seasonal, local ingredients, with menus changing daily.
  • With its secluded location, Post Ranch Inn doesn’t offer a variety of bars, but instead, you can enjoy a glass of wine or a cocktail at the hotel’s restaurant, Sierra Mar. Whether you’re a wine enthusiast or just want to learn more about wine and experience something new, Post Ranch Inn’s restaurant, Sierra Mar, features a wine list that will certainly have something that will please you. The wine cellar at Sierra Mar offers more than 13,000 bottles and 2,600 varying selections, including both new-world choices and old-world choices. While you’ll find some wine from well-known estates, you’ll also find some rare selections from smaller, lesser-known producers. If you have questions or need help making a decision, the wine director, Dominique DaCruz, will be more than happy to assist you. Sit back and sip your wine while enjoying breathtaking views of the coastline and the beautiful mountains.
