What is the dress code at Sirio Ristorante?
Despite its opulent décor, Sirio Ristorante has a less rigid dress code than other restaurants at the ARIA Resort & Casino due to its family-friendly vibe and hospitable environment. You’ll fit right in wearing a T-shirt and shorts at Sirio’s Caffe, but in the more formal dining room, opt for business casual. The décor at Sirio is warm and inviting, and you can tell that it places stock into making you feel like you’re dining in Tuscany…even though you’re actually in the heart of Sin City.

Almost as impressive as the Las Vegas restaurant itself is Sirio Ristorante’s room-length bar, which divides its more casual caffe from its formal dining room. The bar serves an extensive list of Italian wines, natch, that are easily identified by the glass-walled wine room in front of the caffe. The restaurant also offers an impressive array of aperitifs, digestifs and specialty cocktails. Try the Sirio Maccioni, named for the owner, which is composed of Absolut Mandarin, house limoncello, pama and pomegranate juice. The bar invites guests to regular “cello tastings,” during which you can sample house-made limoncello, berry cello and chocolate cello with coordinating desserts. Sirio’s sommelier can do pairings of any kind, including teas and non-alcoholic drinks if you’d rather stay sober. If hunger pangs strike, you can order anything off the restaurant’s full menu while you sit at the bar.

Sirio Ristorante doesn't offer a kids menu, in fact, children under the age of five are not permitted in the main dining room. However, for a more family-friendly dining experience, head to Sirio’s more casual caffee. It’s one of our favorite spots at ARIA if you’ve got young ones in tow. While there is no official kids menu in either space, your little ones will love the selection of pizzas and pastas —sure to keep them full and satisfied and offer a stress-free dining experience.

Due to the popularity of Sirio Ristorante, reservations are strongly suggested if you want a choice spot in the restaurant’s formal dining room. While all tables in the dining room are lovely, opt for the ones with a view of the striking, cold preparation kitchen. You have a ringside seat to the chefs preparing antipasti dishes with cured meats and Italian cheeses. This impressive display not only adds a bit of entertainment to your dining experience, but you get a true feeling of how authentic the cuisine is.

Head to Sirio Ristorante if you want to feel like you’re dining among family and friends in old-world Italy even though you’re in the heart of Sin City. Chef Vincenzo Scarmiglia serves up a vast selection of rustic, home-style Italian specialties. Here are five delicious, unforgettable dishes:
1. The pasta. Housemade pasta is a specialty at Sirio Ristorante, and we especially loved the gnocchi with basil pesto sauce. It’s a hearty treat that tastes so fresh, you’ll be dreaming about it long after your dinner is over.
2. The branzino. For $39, order the flavor-packed branzino di orbetello con scampo arrostiti. One of Sirio’s show-stopping seafood dishes, the pan-seared, imported Tuscan sea bass combines langoustines with heirloom cherry tomato guazzetto, garlic ciabatta croutons, braised black rice and garden vegetables.
3. The veal scaloppini. As one of Sirio’s most praised dishes, the flavorful veal scaloppini with piccata sauce will leave you full and satisfied.
4. The antipasti. Build your own antipasti platter by choosing from an array of cured meats and Italian cheeses. As a bonus, watch the chefs prepare the plate in the open, cold preparation room.
5. The dessert trio. Even if you don’t have a sweet tooth, dessert is one course you shouldn’t pass up at Sirio Ristorante. While there are too many decadent and delicious options to choose from, opt for the classic trio of tiramisu, offered in traditional, caramel and strawberry.

Taking cues from old-world Tuscan cuisine, Sirio Ristorante offers upscale Italian fare using traditional concepts and ingredients crafted in unique ways. The menu at the Las Vegas restaurant follows the pattern of a typical Italian meal: antipasti, pasta, secondi (a meat or seafood entrée) and dolci (dessert). Home-style Italian classics take reign here, with an array of homemade pastas and an impressive selection of antipasti, such as Italian cheeses and cured meats. If you have any dietary restrictions, Sirio is more than accommodating, offering a number of vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free options.

Like its sister restaurant Le Cirque in New York City, Sirio Ristorante, named for famed restaurateur Sirio Maccioni, brings the heart of Italy to Las Vegas. The restaurant’s beautiful and inviting atmosphere boasts polished wood furniture and a shiny, marble-patterned floor. Tables of varying shapes and sizes populate the room, accompanied by vibrant red dining chairs. A large inverted dome with geometric patterns is the centerpiece. Gazing at the ceiling evokes feelings of drama and grandeur. Despite its opulence, Sirio’s interior design offers a simple aesthetic, reminiscent of cafes that pepper the cobblestone blocks of Italian villages.

While Italian food often evokes feelings of romance, reserve a table in the main dining room at Sirio Ristorante if you want to step it up for a cozy date night in Las Vegas. Since the caffe section of the restaurant is more casual and family-friendly, the restaurant’s dining room offers an ambiance that is more desirable for lovebirds looking to for more intimacy. In the Sirio Caffe, the best item to order is the, "Classic" Egi Cheese Ravioli.
The main dining room offers contemporary items, such as the Ravioli with Lobster, the Mediterranean Sea Bass from Ortobello (Chef Vincenzoâs home town in Tuscany). Lastly, not to be forgotten is the Rack of Lamb.
For desserts, may I recommend the Arancini. This dessert is lightly fried chocolate, coated in lady finger dust. It is served with figs, balsamic glaze and a vanilla balsamic gelato. -
Signature impeccable Italian tastes are presented at Sirio Ristorante, appropriately named for the Maccioni family’s renowned patriarch, Sirio. Home-style Italian specialties from Sirio’s Tuscany homeland grab the spotlight at Sirio Ristorante, backed by a cast of more contemporary dishes both refined and indulgent. The menu offers a myriad of pastas and appetizers to simple and robust entrées. Sirio is proud to offer a full Vegan and Vegetarian menu as well. Governing the preparation of every dish is a core Italian philosophy of simplicity, in which imported ingredients and freshness are placed center stage.

Children of all ages are welcome to dine in the front caffe, while children from the ages 5 and above can enjoy the formal dining room. Although there is not a specific kids’ menu, Sirio offer a variety of kid-friendly menu options, such as fresh pastas, pizzas, and gelato.

Even if you don’t consider yourself a dessert person, you’re guaranteed to develop a sweet tooth after sampling one of the classic Italian delicacies at Sirio Ristorante in Las Vegas. The restaurant offers traditional Italian staples such as cannoli, panna cotta, gelato and sorbet. However, the showstopper on the dessert menu is the tiramisu. Presented as a trio, the spongy dessert comes in its traditional form as well as caramel and strawberry flavors.
