How do I get an appointment at the Spa at the Hazelton in Toronto?
Appointments are quite easy to come by at the Spa at the Hazelton Hotel in Toronto. You can simply call directly or you can book via e-mail. Though this is a Four-Star establishment, the spa isn’t the type of place with a miles-long waiting list to get in. Last-minute appointments can often be accommodated, though our experts recommend making an advance appointment to ensure availability — especially during after-work hours, on weekends and on holidays. During the Toronto International Film Festival in September, the Spa at the Hazelton can get quite busy, too. Otherwise, the Spa at the Hazelton is open seven days a week, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

The Spa at the Hazelton Hotel in Toronto can often accommodate last minute requests, however, our experts recommend booking in advance to ensure that you can get an appointment. If you have special requests, such as a specific gender for your massage therapist or a post-treatment meal, it’ll be easiest to accommodate you when the spa is given advance notice. We suggest that you book your treatments about a week in advance, especially if you’re planning to relax and rejuvenate on a weekend or during after-work hours, to ensure availability. To make an appointment, you can call, and e-mail, or, if you are or will be a guest at the Hazelton Hotel, just ask the concierge to book your treatments for you.

Our experts recommend making an appointment at the Spa at the Hazelton Hotel in Toronto at least 48 hours in advance, and preferably a week in advance. It isn’t terribly difficult to get an appointment, but since the spa is small and intimate, it does book up quickly, especially if you’re planning your pampering time on weekends or holidays, or busier post-work hours. Appointments are available seven days a week, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. To book a treatment, call, or email the Four-Star spa. And if you’re a guest at the Hazelton Hotel, you can also ask the concierge to book your appointments for you.

The waiting area at the Spa at the Hazelton Hotel in Toronto is comfortable and intimate. The whole spa is quite small — just four treatment rooms on the hotel’s Health Club level — and the waiting area is simple a small alcove off of the reception area with a few plush armchairs and some magazines. Like most of the hotel, it is quite dark, which adds to the private, exclusive ambiance, but makes it difficult to actually read those tabloid articles. If you do have some time to kill before your treatments, we suggest lounging in the locker room instead; it has bright lighting, comfortable seating and a small television. Spa guests also get full access to Health Club amenities, including the saltwater pool, eucalyptus steam room and fitness center, so you should definitely take advantage if you have the time.

The Spa at the Hazelton Hotel in Toronto does not require an advance deposit to reserve your appointment. However, when you book your treatments, you will be required to give a credit card number for the spa to keep on file. You don’t have to pay with this card, but if you don’t show up for your appointment, then your card will be charged the full price of all the treatments you were supposed to enjoy. Yikes! If you do have to cancel for any reason, be sure to give at least 24 hours’ notice; calling the Spa at the Hazelton in Toronto to cancel a mere hour or two before your appointment will still result in the full charge on your credit card.
