The average price of a room at The Inn at Palmetto Bluff ranges depending on the season. But you won't get a regular room at this Four-Star hotel; it has 50 individual cottages and suites, which are much more spacious than most luxury hotels.
During the cooler months, the average prices of the rooms tend to be a bit lower than those in the warmer months. The standard 1,140-square-foot cottages range from $545 to $645. For even more comfort, opt for the 1,350-square-foot Cottage Suites, with separate living and bedrooms, which run about $745 per night.
From there the rates escalate, as your next option is one of the village homes. Whether you choose one of the two-bedroom West Wilson homes for around $1,055 a night or splurge for the four-bedroom Wilson Deluxe Home for $2,040 a night, your stay at the South Carolina hotel will be filled with luxury.
In the summer, these rates go up between $100 and $200, as Palmetto Bluff is a popular retreat. -
Depending on if you book a standard cottage or splurge for a village home, The Inn at Palmetto Bluff requires a different deposit as part of its cancellation policy. When you book, keep in mind that you have to pay one night's deposit for the cottages and a charge that equals 50 percent of your total stay for the village homes. If you cancel your cottage reservation at least seven days before your arrival, you will get your full deposit back. But, leave it to the last minute and you can kiss that deposit goodbye. As for the village homes, you have 16 days to cancel your stay; otherwise, you'll forfeit the entire amount of your stay. All reservations canceled outside of the said period will be charged a $50 fee.

Each of these restaurants makes the best of the resort's location, using the freshest ingredients possible. Enjoy dinner in the River House Restaurant Tuesday through Saturday and nosh on dishes such as May River shrimp and fried chicken. Or venture to May River Grill for a view of the golf course and some fabulous lunch options Tuesday through Sunday. The corner café, Buffalos, is a great meeting place that serves up breakfast and lunch daily. Another dinner option at the Four-Star hotel is the Canoe Club, whose atmosphere is the epitome of Southern comfort.

Or head to May River Grill after a round on the greens; the bar doesn't close until the last golfer finishes. Another great option is the bar at the River House Restaurant, which is open Tuesday through Saturday from 2 to 11 p.m.
