If there’s one thing we can guarantee during your stay at The Ritz-Carlton, Palm-Beach, it’s that you will eat and drink well. The fare offered at the hotel’s restaurants and bars take cues from the tropical and beachy vibe of southern Florida, offering high-end, unique cuisine that is bursting with local flavor. You’ll be presented with a lot of food and beverage options at this hotel, but here are five items we insist you try:
1. Breakfast at Temple Orange. Start your day with brunch at Temple Orange, the hotel’s more casual restaurant, and order the smoked chicken hash. This savory treat comes with hash browns and your choice of toast, English muffin, croissant or bagel.
2. Stone crab at Angle. Have a fine-dining experience without leaving the Ritz-Carlton, Palm Beach at Angle, a contemporary supper club with all the locally grown South Florida favorites. To experience a true delicacy, order the Florida stone crab.
3. Mojito at Stir Bar and Terrace. You’ll have a variety of options once cocktail hour rolls around, but we highly suggest sipping on one of the refreshing mojitos at Stir Bar and Terrace. Whether you plan on enjoying poolside or at the bar, this mojito is the perfect treat for a humid Florida day.
4. Havana daydreamin’ cocktail. Another addition to your “must-drink” list is the “Havana daydreamin’ ” cocktail, made of Captain Morgan rum, mint, strawberries and champagne. If nothing else, this drink is sure to instantly get you into a tropical mood in no time.
5. Kim Crawford chardonnay. Wine aficionados will be pleased to find an extensive wine list at Stir Bar and Terrace as well as at Angle. We suggest ordering the Kim Crawford chardonnay, a perfectly crisp libation for those muggy Florida summer days. -
From casual beachside dining to a swanky supper club-style restaurant, the Ritz-Carlton, Palm Beach has something for every palate.
Temple Orange transforms from a bright and airy breakfast spot with — you guessed it — punches of orange, to a candlelit family-friendly Italian restaurant with rich chocolate linens and ocean views. Whatever time of day, opt for alfresco dining and enjoy the ocean breezes.
Speaking of ocean gusts, you’re sure to enjoy them when you order lunch or dinner at Breeze. The absolutely casual vibe at Palm Beach’s only oceanfront burger bar will relax you, if you aren’t already in a state of bliss.
Stop by Stir Bar and Terrace, right off the lobby for a quick, light bite to eat, such as the seared tuna salad or margherita flatbread, or a late-night dessert such as the mini-cupcake tic tac toe for two. You can enjoy the ambience of the fire pit just outside.
The swanky supper-club vibe of Angle makes the steakhouse a terrific choice for dinner. Flickering candlelight reflects off the mirrors and onto the chocolate velvet walls of the intimate room. For a truly memorable evening, make a special request to sit at the chef’s favorite onyx table. -
Quench your thirst at one of the Ritz-Carlton, Palm Beach’s two bars. Pull up a stool beachside at Breeze and revisit your childhood with an adult-version creamsicle featuring Grey Goose L’orange vodka, orange juice and ice cream, or cool off with a frozen peach tea: Seagrams sweet tea vodka and Peach Oasis. When the sun goes down, Stir Bar and Terrace just off the lobby comes to life as the center of evening activity. Try the mocha martini, with Grey Goose vodka, Godiva dark chocolate and Godiva white chocolate liqueurs and Starbucks coffee liqueur, or the refreshing hidden pleasure, with Grey Goose L’orange vodka, Chambord raspberry liqueur and pineapple and cranberry juices. Drinks in hand, you’re welcome to head outside to cozy up to the fire pit.

Sit inside and enjoy the bright and cheery décor, or opt to dine alfresco on the terrace with a lovely view. Either way, you’ll choose from traditional favorites such as pancakes and eggs benedict, lighter fare such as granola and a yogurt parfait; or a hearty meal with the Oceanside Buffet. The “Freshly Squeezed” Sunday Brunch is a crowd favorite — perhaps for the bottomless bloody marys, mimosas and champagne, which are included in the meal.

With the Ritz-Carlton, Palm Beach’s recent and major renovation of its gym (which included many of the bells and whistles you’d come to expect of a Five-Star fitness area), we were surprised to learn that the space did not boast its own locker rooms, which feels like an incredibly necessary amenity in this caliber of a hotel.
