The rooms at The Signature at MGM Grand Las Vegas — which are all suites, by the way — are spacious and sophisticated with classic features. Within each of the three different types of suites here — the deluxe suite, the one-bedroom balcony suite and two-bedroom balcony suite — you’ll find similar furnishings and décor and all the same great amenities. Brown and cream hues paint the room and natural light beams in from the windows, which are covered with long beige drapes. Rooms are decorated classically, with tones of cream, beige, brown, peach, deep red, light blue and light green. Artwork is modern and abstract and matches the light green padded leather bed frame. Each suite has an iHome clock radio where you can plug in your iPod.
The deluxe suite covers 550 square feet of space with a king-sized bed and a large sitting area with a couch, chair, coffee table and entertainment system. Between the bed and the sitting area, you’ll find a partitioned frosted screen, so the room will feel a bit broken up. You’ll get a kitchenette with stocked cabinets, as well as a stovetop, a mini refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker and a blender. A flat-screen TV is built into the cabinets so you can watch from the couch or the comfort of the bed. You won’t get a balcony in these rooms, but you will have floor-to-ceiling windows with views of either the mountains or the Strip.
The one-bedroom balcony suite, which covers 950 square feet of space, has a master bedroom with a large living area and built-in entertainment system. The full kitchen has a Sub-Zero fridge along with Miele and Bosch appliances. Sit and enjoy a cocktail at the countertop or at the four-top glass table. Kick back and watch TV in the living area or tuck into bed at night and watch TV from there. You’ll have two bathrooms instead of just one and the master bathroom features two sinks along with a deep-soaking whirlpool tub, a separate glass shower and a vanity area for primping before a night out. There’s also a balcony, a unique feature that very few hotels on the Strip can boast. Floor-to-ceiling windows grace the master bedroom.
The two-bedroom balcony suite gives you even more space - you’ll have two separate sitting areas to spread out in along with two pull-out couches and three bathrooms. Each suite features a couch with a pull-out bed so if you’re sharing the room with children or an extra guest, it’s easy enough to crash here instead of getting a rollaway bed.

The Four-Star Signature at MGM Grand stands out in the Las Vegas crowd. There’s a lot to like about the property, but we’ve narrowed it to these five things:
1. It’s a non-gaming hotel. That’s right, there isn’t a casino within The Signature at MGM Grand Las Vegas. The Signature is part of the MGM Grand Hotel & Casino, with plenty of gaming floor, so if you’re looking to spend some time at the slots, just take the moving walkway. No casino in the lobby means you can bypass all the noise and smoke, trading it for a more tranquil setting. This is perfect for an older set who want to bypass the party people or for children who you may not be ready to be introduced to the wonderful world of gaming.
2. The pools are terrific. The Signature at MGM Grand Las Vegas has three separate pools, one for each of the three towers, which are only available for guests of Four-Star hotel. You’ll need a key card to get access the quiet pool area, where there’s a lifeguard and attendants pass out towels. If the pool party is more your style, head to Wet Republic within the MGM Grand.
3. The hotel feels exclusive. When you pull into The Signature at MGM Grand Las Vegas’s private drive, you’ll feel like a movie star. After they check to make sure you’re a guest, you’ll be whisked inside. You can even bypass checking in and do it at the airport. As you exit the south baggage claim at McCarran International Airport, you can check in and get your room keys right there. You can even make restaurant reservations or get your luggage transferred if you can’t make it to hotel right away — the simple touches make you feel like a VIP.
4. Great restaurants are at your fingertips. While there’s just a deli located in Tower 2 of The Signature, you’re just a few moving walkways away from some of the best restaurants on the Strip, or even in the world. You’ll find eateries from celebrity chefs including Tom Colicchio’s Craftsteak and Michael Mina’s Nobhill Tavern and Seablue. There’s also the MGM Grand Buffet, Rainforest Café and The Grand Wok and Sushi Bar along with in-room dining and other places to grab a coffee or quick bite, like Starbucks, Cabana Grill and Studio Café.
5. You can get a balcony. It’s hard to find a hotel room in Las Vegas with a balcony or terrace, but they are available at The Signature at MGM Grand Las Vegas. Book a one-bedroom balcony suite or two-bedroom suite to get this luxe feature. Trust us, it’s worth it.

While there are no trains that go to Las Vegas, you can take a bus to The Signature at MGM Grand Las Vegas from various locations across the U.S. Amtrak buses will drop you off at the Greyhound Station at 200 South Main St. in downtown Las Vegas. From there, you can take a 15-minute taxi ride to The Signature at MGM Grand Las Vegas.
Of course, the Las Vegas Monorail, an elevated transit system can help you get around within Las Vegas. It runs from the MGM Grand Hotel & Casino on the southernmost end, all the way up to the Sahara Station, at the north end of the Strip (and the closest to downtown Las Vegas). The Monorail can save you some money if you’re planning on visiting several different properties. The Vegas Strip can get quite congested both during the day and at night, which will cost you extra in taxi fare. Instead, you can purchase a one-day Monorail pass for $12 or a three-day pass for $28; a single ride ticket is only $5. The MGM Grand Monorail Station is located inside near the restaurants, right as you enter the hotel from The Signature’s moving walkways. It runs Monday through Thursday from 7 to 2 a.m. and Friday to Saturday from 7 to 3 a.m. It only takes about 15 minutes to get from one end of the Strip to the other, making it the fastest way to travel. We’re all for luxury travel, but the monorail is just part of the Las Vegas experience that shouldn’t be missed.

The concierge at The Signature at MGM Grand Las Vegas can do just about anything for you — from answering questions to securing last-minute dinner reservations. On a recent trip to The Signature, we wanted to see the Cirque du Soleil show, Ka, but waited until the last minute (the day before) to get tickets. The lines in front of the box office within the MGM Grand were long, so we stopped by the concierge desk in Tower 1 and within five minutes, we had tickets in our hands. (Signature guests get discounts on theater tickets at MGM Grand.) But the concierge can do much more than book tickets. The staff can set you up with dinner, spa and golf reservations, and handle any other request you might have.

If we had to describe the style of The Signature at MGM Grand Las Vegas in just five words, these are the ones we would pick:
1. Private. The Signature’s secluded location on Harmon Avenue, away from the hustle and bustle of the Strip, makes it feel like a private resort. Although it’s connected to MGM Grand Hotel & Casino, if you didn’t want to, you would never have to enter the bustling hotel. This is ideal for families or anyone looking for a quiet trip.
2. Peaceful. Since The Signature at MGM Grand Las Vegas is a non-gaming hotel (although it’s connected to the MGM Grand), you never have to set foot in the casino. With a private entrance and its own bar, deli and Starbucks, The Signature has all the essentials so you won’t have to leave the hotel. The pools and public areas are much more subdued than what you would find in other resorts.
3. Luxurious. From the décor to the service, The Signature at MGM Grand Las Vegas is upscale. The private location offers a luxe feel, as do the classically chic lobbies (decked out with fresh flowers, marble flooring and chandeliers). Guest suites are large and the one and two-bedroom suites offer some of the only terraces in Las Vegas.
4. Exclusive. Because The Signature is located off the strip with a private entrance, there is a feeling of exclusivity. You still get all the perks of staying at MGM Hotel & Casino — you can visit the spa and pools — but at The Signature, you’ll feel like you have your own private.
5. Classic. The Signature at MGM Grand Las Vegas might not be as huge as the other resorts on the Strip, and it certainly doesn’t go to the extreme in dcor either. The Signature is simple with clean lines and sleek furnishings. It offers a quiet environment for business travelers or families looking to avoid the craziness of other Strip resorts.

The hotel’s rooms are all suites, and a deluxe one at the Four-Star hotel starts at $109, depending upon the season you visit. You can also get a one-bedroom balcony suite — and we recommend it, since balconies are a rarity in Las Vegas — for $179. Of course, prices rise and fall with the season. Come December, you will be able to book The Signature Deluxe Suite for $99 and the One-Bedroom Balcony Suite for $149. The Signature at MGM Grand Las Vegas also offers specials and packages, so check their website before you book.

Like most luxury hotels in Las Vegas, The Signature at MGM Grand Las Vegas does have a cancellation policy. If you have to cancel your stay at Four-Star hotel, you must give 48 hours notice in order to receive a refund on your deposit. If you give less two-days notice, you’ll lose the money you paid when making your original reservation, as the hotel takes your credit card number while you book.

Most hotels in Las Vegas charge a resort fee, and The Signature at MGM Grand Las Vegas is no exception. The Four-Star hotel charges guests a daily resort fee of $20, which covers use of the gym, Wi-Fi, and the two mini bottles of water placed in your room’s refrigerator each day. Make the most of your resort fee and visit one of The Signature’s two gyms. You’ll find chilled towels, water and headsets for listening to music or watching TV on the cardio equipment. Like many other things in Las Vegas, the gym is open 24-hours every day so it’s easy to find time to visit.

Getting from McCarran International Airport to The Signature at MGM Grand Las Vegas is quick and easy. The Las Vegas airport is located just 10 minutes away from the hotel, so once your plane hits the ground, you’ll be on the Strip in no time. MGM Grand Resort & Casino’s location on the southern end of Strip means you have first access to all the action.
A taxi is the best way to make the fast trip to The Signature, and the ride should cost about $13 with tip. If you’re renting a car to take in other sights besides the Strip, leave the airport north onto Swenson Street, and then turn left onto East Tropicana Avenue. Turn right onto Audrie Street, and take another right onto East Harmon Avenue. You’ll pull up to The Signature’s private drive at 145 E. Harmon Ave.

Situated on the famous Las Vegas Strip, The Signature at MGM Grand Las Vegas is located within the MGM Grand Hotel & Casino at 145 East Harmon Ave. While The Signature has a private entrance, you can still enter through the MGM Grand on the south end of the Strip. However, when you arrive, be sure to pull up to The Signature’s luxurious private drive. With its secluded location off the Strip, The Signature is a good fit for guests looking to forgo the hustle and bustle of Las Vegas mega-casinos.

With high-limit gaming and huge resorts, a trip to Las Vegas can be overwhelming in itself, so here are five things we think you should know about The Signature at MGM Grand Las Vegas:
1. The Signature at MGM Grand Las Vegas is a non-gaming hotel. If you were hoping to stay in the casino all night and take the elevator up to your room in the wee hours, you still can, but it will be a bit of a longer walk to your elevator bank. There isn’t a casino within The Signature at MGM Grand Las Vegas; but since The Signature is part of the MGM Grand resort, it’s easy to get to the casino in the MGM Grand lobby. And if you like, you’ll be able to bypass the whole casino by just using the entrance through your tower at The Signature.
2. It’s a longer walk to the Strip. Because of The Signature at MGM Grand Las Vegas’s tucked away location, it’s a little bit more removed. Regardless of where you stay in Las Vegas, you’ll spend a lot of time walking. Resorts and hotels here are massive and spread out. Plan ahead before heading to a dinner reservation or show — you want to allow for enough time to get there.
3. The hotel is a subdued and sophisticated. If you’re looking for an over-the-top audio-visual display immediately when you walk into the hotel, you won’t find it here. Instead, you’ll walk into one of the three towers and feel a sense of sophistication. From a quiet pool setting to relaxed lobbies with subdued colors, The Signature is a place where you can relax and enjoy Las Vegas without the crowds and craze of the larger, more flamboyant, resorts.
4. The monorail has a station here. If you’re traveling with a larger group or young kids, the monorail is a great way to get from one end of the Strip to another. A quick walk through The Signature to the lobby of the MGM Grand resort will take you to the Monrail Station, where you can purchase tickets and hop on.
5. Pool options abound. If you’re looking for a wild scene at the hotel’s pool, you’ll have to venture over to MGM Grand Hotel & Casino. The Signature at MGM Grand Las Vegas’s three pools (one for each of the three towers) are only available to guests of The Signature, which make them quiet and relaxing. But MGM Grand’s pool complex is another story, and features five pools (one has a lazy river) and Wet Republic, an adult-only club. -
The concierge at The Signature at MGM Grand Las Vegas can do just about anything for you — from answering questions to securing last-minute dinner reservations.
