It’s your mission to relax, so let the staff members sweat all these details for your visit to the Spa at Mandarin Oriental. This being Las Vegas, they’re used to requests for relaxing spa treatments followed by trips to the salon to prepare for the night ahead, and can seamlessly coordinate this for you. Simply mention you want to visit both the salon and spa when you call to book your pampering day. The staff will schedule your appointments so that you can go from one treatment to the other without waiting too long in between (not that there aren’t plenty of ways to fill your time in the amenity-laden spa) and without a disruption in your relaxation experience. Do try to book at least a week in advance to make sure there’s no fuss on either end.

Sigh, if you can’t make your appointment at the Spa at Mandarin Oriental Las Vegas, be sure to notify the spa staff 24 hours in advance or before the close of business on the day before to avoid paying a cancellation fee at the Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star Las Vegas spa. That fee equals the full price of your scheduled treatment, a big incentive to somehow make it to your massage appointment.

If you’ve been playing a little too hard in Sin City, you’ll love the Spa at Mandarin Oriental’s Personalized Ocean and Earth body wrap. The body wrap is intended to raise your body’s temperature and draw toxins away. The treatment begins with a good exfoliation. You then get to pick which aromatherapy oil you’d like applied, followed by which wrap you’d prefer: marine mud, algae or oshadi clay. The spa therapist will help you select the type of wrap depending on your specific needs. Before the treatment wraps up, you’ll also receive an Oriental Head massage. The cost for the one-hour treatment is $180 on weekdays and $200 on weekends.

The treatment rooms at the Spa at Mandarin Oriental Las Vegas are sleek and luxurious, and like the rest of the Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star spa, have a cosmopolitan feel to them. The 10 single suites and seven couples suites feature dark wood accents and leather furniture. Modern artwork and sculptures fill the transporting spaces, and tables are topped in crisp cream linens, beautiful tapestries and colorful silk pillows. Unlike most spas, all the treatment rooms here also have windows that feature great views of the Las Vegas Strip, with curtains that can be drawn to block out the light. Dim lighting and soft music help create a tranquil ambience, allowing you to drift away and enter a world of total calm.

The amenities at the Spa at Mandarin Oriental really set it apart. Nearly everything about this beautiful spa that takes style cues from 1930s Shanghai offers a welcome boost to your mind and body, but we’ve rounded up a list of our five favorite amenities you should be sure to check out:
1. Our female inspectors love the Moroccan-inspired Rhassoul (sorry, guys, this treatment is ladies-only). There’s just something healing about the mud and the heat and the shower afterward that leaves us feeling completely rejuvenated.
2. The Turkish Hammam is another favorite (and both women and men can enjoy the experience together). The scrub on heated marble tables is both relaxing and invigorating. It’s the perfect treatment if you’re in town with a group and want to enjoy the Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star spa with your party. The room can be booked for up to eight people.
3. The spa offers several heat and water thermal experiences before or after your treatment. We recommend rinsing off in the personal Experience Showers, which use special lighting, scents, sounds and water pressures - ranging from a light sprinkle to a heavy rainfall - to recreate an array of relaxing environments. You can choose among five showers: Arctic Mist, Body Spray, Island Storm, Body Drench and Tropical Rain. Feel free to play around; we always do.
4. If you love it hot and cold, we recommend a soak in the Vitality Pool, heated to a steamy 104F. with sweeping views of the Las Vegas Strip and private reclining seats. Then head to the refreshing ice fountain to cool your face and body with refreshing ice chips - which also help soothe aching muscles.
5. To really heat things up, head to the spa’s Laconium Room, a relaxation room with contoured bench-style seating that’s kept at 140F with a slight humidity. It’s a less intense experience than a sauna, but will still help you detox by stimulating circulation. You can also release toxins and stress in the men’s or women’s aromatherapy steam rooms, which are heated to 118F and infused with herbal-scented steam.

Well-known designer Adam D. Tihany created the interior of the Spa at Mandarin Oriental Las Vegas with 1930s Shanghai in mind, a modern and decadent time during which the city was referred to as the “Paris of the Orient.” Dim lighting immediately sets an exotic tone when you walk into the eighth-floor reception area, where you can sit in elegant chairs made of Italian silk and gaze at oversized framed artwork of gorgeous Asian spa muses, who also grace the walls elsewhere in the spa. A rich color palette that includes browns, greens, golds and reds, add warmth and sophistication. The spa opened in December 2009, so it’s a fairly new facility that’s immaculately maintained.
The Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star 27,000-square-foot spa spans two floors, and downstairs is where you’ll find the locker rooms, which are made of dark wood and natural stone accents that lend it a calm and modern feel. Rose petals scattered on the shelves and counters add a sweet touch. Within the locker room area, you’ll find steam rooms, saunas, Experience Showers (which have lights, aromas and sounds) and an Ice Fountain that dispenses ice to cool you off. Don’t miss the Vitality Pool, which is heated to about 104F; you can relax on its steel lounges while champagne-like bubbles brush your body. Though you may prefer to rest on one of the contoured benches made of iridescent mosaic tile that radiate heat in the Laconium Room, which is kept at a smoldering 140F. The temperature-controlled Tepidarium chaise lounges are also a nice way to melt stress away. In the nearby relaxation lounge, sink into a lounge chair, which is more like semi-reclined bed. You’ll have some privacy, thanks to the shoji-style screens between the beds. Climb into a bed, snuggle under the plush red blanket and peer out the large windows, whose views of Las Vegas give the space a sexy, cosmopolitan feel. It’s everything we’d picture a glamorous “Paris of the Orient” to be.

The Spa at Mandarin Oriental Las Vegas is the perfect place to relax with a group of friends. The Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star spa’s Hammam is the ideal group setting. Hammams are gathering places in Turkey where groups of people go to relax and socialize. The Spa at Mandarin Oriental Las Vegas translates that experience into a coed spa space where up to eight guests can get a treatment at once. This includes a main steam chamber with tiled walls and glistening lights overhead. You and your fellow guests in the Hammam will receive an exfoliating body scrub during your treatment. Then, steam will fill the room and you’ll be left to relax on the benches that line the walls. The heat helps to increase circulation in your body and improve your complexion.
If you’re visiting with a group of ladies, the spa’s Rhassoul is another option. The Moroccan healing ritual calls for applying natural mud all over and then sitting in a room that’s heated to 100F to let it dry and draw out toxins. An aromatic steam is then released to soften the mud, allowing the body to soak up its minerals.
Other options for groups to enjoy together include a poolside pedicure party, Hatha yoga session or a Chinese Foot Spa. The spa’s other amenities also make it easy to relax together as a group before or after individual treatments. This includes a Laconium Room (which is heated to 140F) and a warm Vitality Pool.

The Spa at Mandarin Oriental offers the perfect treatment to get you pool ready. The spa’s Contour and Firm is a nearly two-hour treatment (one hour, 50 minutes to be exact) that uses an algae mask and special massage to help reduce the appearance of cellulite. Whether it truly does reduce cellulite is hard to say, but the treatment definitely gives you an overall boost. Your skin is left smooth and buffed, and the massage is so relaxing, you forget all about any cellulite anyway. We also like the Oriental scrub. The 30-minute add-on treatment uses ginger and sea salt to leave skin feeling super soft. Both treatments will leave you feeling refreshed for a day at the pool or a night on the town.

Half-day programs last between 3 1/2 and four hours and include the Top-to-Toe ($700), Mandarin Oriental Gems ($800) and Rock and Relax ($700) treatments. Top-to-Toe does in fact offer top-to-toe pampering: The treatment includes a foot treatment, salt scrub, aromatherapy massage, customized holistic facial and refreshments. The Mandarin Oriental Gems program is a luxurious block of luminescence massage, jade enzyme facial, Mandarin Oriental manicure and refreshments, while The Rock and Relax program includes a hot stone massage, customized holistic facial and a Mandarin Oriental pedicure.

The Spa at Mandarin Oriental Las Vegas has a number of signature treatments that make the Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star spa unique.
The Mandarin Oriental Signature Spa Therapies ($340 weekday, $400 weekend) have a more authentic approach to massages; designed by Chinese Medicine specialists and aromatherapists, each treatment begins with a consultation to determine your individual needs. The Oriental meridian massage and oils are then tailored to help you get the most out of your treatment.
Adventurous guests might go for the Spa at Mandarin Oriental’s Time Rituals (starting at $300); instead of booking specific treatments, you book a block to time and go from there. The Time Ritual begins with a foot ritual and then the spa customizes the treatments to meet your needs. You can book an hour and 50 minutes, or two hours and 50 minutes.
During the Oriental Harmony ($530 weekday, $620 weekend), four hands work on you for one hour and 50 minutes to give the ultimate relaxing experience. You’ll enjoy a foot bath, warm scrub and a simultaneous foot and head massage.
If you’re looking to escape the hustle and bustle of the Las Vegas Strip, then you must try one of the spa Journeys: Mahjong Balance, Luminescence massage and body treatment or Lucky Eights. During the Chinese-inspired Mahjong Balance, you’ll enjoy a foot ritual and body exfoliation before a therapeutic massage. The treatment concludes with an Oriental head massage and cool Mahjong tiles that soothe and calm the body.
The Luminescence massage and body treatment gives your skin a beautiful shimmer. The treatment includes a Swedish massage and body scrub and concludes with a dusting of a pearl powder to make your skin sparkle. The Lucky Eights journey will rejuvenate your feet, eyes and head: Cold jade stones massage the areas around your eyes to reduce dark circles, and you’ll enjoy a therapeutic foot massage as well as an acupressure head massage.

The specialized facials offered at the Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star Spa at Mandarin Oriental Las Vegas will leave you glowing. You can choose from the Customized Holistic ($180), Time Reversal ($220), Jade Enzyme ($220) and Super Active ($260) facials. If you have sensitive skin or just want a personalized experience, we recommend the one-hour Customized Holistic facial. During this treatment, the spa therapist will give you a facial assessment to find out your skin type and then apply products that best match your needs.
The Time Reversal (1 hour, 20 minutes) uses vitamins to correct damaged skin and reduce signs of aging; it also helps treat acne and improve your complexion. The Jade Enzyme (1 hour, 20 minutes) will brighten your skin with an intense cleaning session. The therapists then use these jade facial rollers to initiate skin cell growth and quickly improve the appearance of your skin. The Super Active facial is an hour-and-a-half treatment that targets and treats any skin conditions you may have; the therapist begins with an in-depth skin analysis to pinpoint skin conditions and then uses a combination of deep-cleansing, exfoliation and facial massages to wipe away the effects of stress, pollution and other irritants. Keep in mind that prices for all facials rise between $20 and $40 on weekends-but we think no matter what day of the week you schedule a treatment, it’ll be worth it.

The foot treatment at the Spa at Mandarin Oriental Las Vegas is actually one of its most popular. Washing the feet of your guests is an honor in many Asian cultures and one you’ll appreciate at the Five-Star spa. The soothing treatment begins with a hot foot bath steeped with herbs to soothe tired feet. After a nice soak, you’re escorted to a reclining lounge chair that overlooks Las Vegas Boulevard to choose your particular treatment.
The Detoxify foot treatment ($100 weekday, $120 weekend) starts with a Chinese spearmint foot bath, followed by an exfoliation with lemongrass soap. Your feet are then wrapped in a detoxifying mask of warm ginger and black pepper, and herbal compresses are placed on reflexology points along your feet and legs. An application of cooling lemongrass cream finishes things off.
The Replenish treatment ($100 weekday, $120 weekend) also begins with a Chinese spearmint foot bath and exfoliation, but then continues with a White Clay and Ylang Ylang foot mask. Herbal compress are placed on your feet and legs and a lemongrass cream massage nourishes and soothes your feet.
The Revitalize ($75 weekday, $90 weekend) is a shorter treatment (25 minutes versus 45 for the Detoxify and Replenish treatments) that involves a refreshing spritz, warm towels placed over your feet, an energizing foot scrub and an application of lemongrass cream. It’s just what you need after a long day walking the Las Vegas Strip.

There is much to experience on your visit to the Spa at Mandarin Oriental Las Vegas. The Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star spa has some of the best amenities we’ve experienced.
We recommend allowing time for a dip in the Vitality Pool, which also gives you a lovely panoramic view of the Strip. The pool is heated to a warm 104F. If you become overheated, grab some ice chips from the ice fountain to cool you off.
Otherwise, if you can stand the heat, try relaxing in one of the heated contoured chairs, called Tepidarium Chairs, or step into the Laconium Room, which has contoured bench-style seating and is heated to 140F. After you’ve sweated out enough toxins, you’ll love the Experience Showers, where allow you to choose from five different shower types, ranging from Arctic Mist to Tropical Rain. The showers feature special lighting, aromas, sounds and different water pressures that simulate different atmospheres.
When deciding on a treatment, consider taking advantage of the spa’s exotic Hammam, a therapy which originated in Turkey that uses intense heat to increase the body’s circulation; it’s performed in a beautiful mosaic-tiled steam room that can hold up to 8 guests. During this treatment, your body will be exfoliated with different scrubs, and afterwards, steam fills the room, leaving you to relax.
For something more familiar, there’s a regular steam room and sauna as well. They might not light up or simulate a rain forest, but they certainly get the job done.

A day at the Spa at Mandarin Oriental Las Vegas is not something you want to be late for. The spa recommends (and we agree) that you arrive (at least!) 45 minutes prior to your treatment so you can get the most out of your relaxation experience. A visit to the Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star spa begins with a cup of tea, a consultation with a Mandarin Oriental spa host to make sure your treatments will meet your needs and a tour of the locker room, so you’ll want to leave plenty of time for all that. And you haven’t even gotten to the amenities yet.
The Spa at Mandarin Oriental Las Vegas has some of the best amenities we’ve seen, and you’ll want plenty of time to fully enjoy them before and after your treatments. In addition to the requisite steam and sauna, this includes personal Experience Showers (with lights, aromas and sound.), a Vitality Pool (heated to about 104F), and Laconium Room, which has contoured bench-style seating and is heated to 140F. The spa welcomes you to enjoy all this prior to your treatment to loosen up your muscles and get you in the relaxation mode. If noting else, we like to spend time relaxing in the Zen Relaxation Lounge before treatments. It’s a good way to clear your mind and prepare for your pampering experience.

Men won’t feel left out at the Spa at Mandarin Oriental Las Vegas. The Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star spa offers special treatments designed to give male guests their own special pampering. You can choose from three grooming treatments exclusively for men: the Stress Buster, High-Roller and men’s purifying facial, shoulder and scalp massage.
The Stress Buster ($280 Monday to Thursday; $330 Friday to Sunday) begins with a skin brushing, exfoliation and a facial massage. This is followed by a stress-busting massage with aromatherapy oils and hot stones.
The High-Roller session ($240 Monday to Thursday; $280 Friday to Sunday) will undo the strain that standing for hours on the casino floor may be taking. During the treatment, your back will be exfoliated and massaged with volcanic stones and aromatic oils. Then, your face, scalp, shoulders and arms get a good massage.
If you’re used to a high-stress lifestyle, the men’s purifying facial, shoulder and scalp massage ($180 Monday to Thursday; $200 Friday to Sunday) might be right for you. It removes signs of damage from daily stress and pollution in the air by hydrating your skin. You’ll get an acupressure face massage, a purifying mask and finally a shoulder and scalp massage. When you arrive at the Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star spa, a host will exchange your shoes for slippers - part of a custom where you leave your travels at the door to being your spa journey - and a comfortable black robe with red trim will be waiting for you in the locker room. Most treatments require that you don’t wear clothes (your body will be draped with a cloth during the treatment), but you’re welcome to undress to your comfort level. (The Las Vegas spa also provides disposable undergarments in case you don’t want to get massage oil all over yours.) Although the spa is clothing-optional, you may want to bring along a bathing suit for the 104F Vitality Pool. We always like to bring a change of clothes so we can shower and dress in the pretty locker room afterward, and then head out from there.

The Spa at Mandarin Oriental Las Vegas has an extensive list of treatments that blend contemporary and ancient Asian techniques, and all of the spa therapies will leave your body rejuvenated and your mind refreshed. Many can be catered to your individual needs, but if you can’t choose, we’ve rounded up a list of the five of our favorite treatments at the spa:
1. The spa offers six body massages, but we recommend the signature Oriental Essence. The one-hour massage was designed to alleviate neck and shoulder tension - perfect for the busy parent or workaholic - and concentrates on easing stress and relaxing the body.
2. We love the one-hour Personalized Ocean and Earth body wrap. It starts off with a body exfoliation treatment and allows you to choose a blend of aromatherapy oils to be applied to your body before the wrap. Your therapist will help you choose the marine mud, algae or oshadi clay wrap to envelop your body, comfortably raising your temperature and drawing toxins out. To top it all off, you’ll get a relaxing Oriental head massage.
3. No spa trip would be complete without a rejuvenating facial, and here we like the Jade Enzyme one. The therapist uses these cool jade facial rollers to smooth out skin and a fruit-enzyme mask leaves your skin feeling tingly.
4. Ladies will want to try the one-of-a-kind Moroccan Rhassoul experience modeled after the ancient healing ritual. First you apply natural mud all over and then you sit in a room that’s heated to 100F to let it dry and draw out toxins. An aromatic steam is then released to soften the mud, allowing the body to soak up its minerals. Its messy for sure but after a light shower rinses off the mud, you feel totally rejuvenated.
5. It’s not a specific treatment, but we like to compare the Spa at Mandarin Oriental’s Time Rituals to a tasting at a Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star restaurant: sometimes you just need to put yourself in the hands of those who know. Rather than sifting through treatments yourself, book a block of time and leave the rest to the expert staff. Each session begins with a soothing foot ritual and moves on to a variety of other treatments, each selected to address your specific needs. We always discover something new.

While you wait for your appointment at The Spa at Mandarin Oriental Las Vegas, you can unwind in the lovely relaxation lounge and waiting areas, where your Las Vegas spa experience begins. At the dimly lit reception area, sit one of the Italian silk chairs so you can take off your shoes and exchange them for sandals. It’s part of a custom that signifies leaving your travels at the door and starting your relaxing spa journey. To unwind further, sip peppermint tea and cool off with a chilled towel while taking in the 1930s-Shanghai-inspired décor, like oversized artwork depicting Asian spa muses (which are also sprinkled throughout the spa).
After you get checked in and escorted to the locker room, you can wait out your treatment in the relaxation lounge. There, sink into one of the lounge chairs, which are more like semi-reclined beds topped with plush red blankets. The sleek space is bathed in earth tones, like browns, natural stone, beige and olive. Let any tension drift away as you gaze out the large windows overlooking the Strip. All that action down there might as well be a million miles away. Shoji-like screens between the beds allow you to enjoy the view without being disturbed by nearby guests. There are a variety of snacks, including green apples, tea and fruit-infused water. Couples don’t have to split up either; a coed relaxation area lets you unwind together. Be forewarned: If there’s a group on the Hammam, you won’t have access to the coed area. The space is almost identical to the his-and-hers relaxation rooms, except bigger. Plus, you and your sweetheart can sit on the side-by-side beds while sipping tea and noshing on fruit. You’ll enjoy it so much, you might even forget about your treatment.

A trip to the Spa at Mandarin Oriental Las Vegas is all about relaxation so you’ll want to be comfortable.

The Spa at Mandarin Oriental Las Vegas uses a line of products that are made specifically for them. The body oils, scrubs, lotions and other products are a part of a signature product line developed for the spa by Aromatherapy Associates. The all-natural product line includes five body oils, five bath and shower oils, body scrub, body wash and lotion. The Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star spa also uses luxurious ESPA products during treatments. If you like the products used during your session, you can purchase them at the spa store, where you’ll most likely end your experience at the Spa at Mandarin Oriental Las Vegas.

If you have any health conditions, let the helpful staff Spa at Mandarin Oriental Las Vegas know when booking your appointment so it can make sure your treatment is comfortable and appropriate. This includes any allergies, injuries or other health conditions. You’ll also have an opportunity to make sure your treatment is right for you when you arrive at the Las Vegas spa. Before your appointment, a Mandarin Oriental spa host will meet with you for a consultation to personalize your treatments; this is a good time to double check that the Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star spa is aware of any concerns.

A facial or massage at the lovely Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star Spa at Mandarin Oriental Las Vegas will certainly re-energize you during your stay in Las Vegas, but why stop there?
To get the most out of your visit, consider booking one of the half-day or full-day programs.
If you want to make a day out of your trip to the spa, the full-day program gives you a choice between the Wellbeing & Vitality package ($1,000) for couples and individuals or the Ultimate Wellness package ($1,100). The Wellbeing & Vitality program starts with a yoga, Pilates or private fitness session. You’ll get to relax in the Rhassoul (a mud treatment for women) or Hammam (which involves a scrub for both women and men) before enjoying a soothing foot treatment. Things finish off with a Stress Buster treatment for men and a Mahjong Balance treatment for women. The full-day programs last five blissful hours.
The Ultimate Wellness full-day program includes a yoga, Pilates, or personal training session, followed by a Thai massage and a Quintessence body scrub and Quintessence bath. You’ll then get a customized holistic facial and a Mandarin Oriental pedicure. Both full-day program ends with a replenishing spa lunch. -
If you liked your treatment so much you didn't want it to end, stop in at The Spa at Mandarin Oriental Las Vegas' shop. There, you can purchase products used during treatments. The boutique sells exclusive signature Mandarin Oriental products, items from specialty retailers such as SpaRitual and ESPA and a changing array of special seasonal offerings befitting a Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star spa. Eye creams and face oils from the British skincare line ESPA are popular, as is the company’s just-for-men Dual Action Shavemud, designed to deep-cleanse skin, soothe razor burn and retard hair growth. Specialty hair care products from Oribe and Moroccanoil are also big sellers. With a quick stop at the Las Vegas spa boutique, you can bring a bit of Five-Star pampering to your home.

You’ll be offered a soothing cup of tea and then helped out of your street shoes and into comfy slip-on spa sandals — letting you leave your troubles at the door.

One of the biggest perks of visiting The Spa at Mandarin Oriental Las Vegas is getting to enjoy the various thermal experiences and special wet areas throughout the Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star spa. We love the experience showers in the locker rooms — there are three for women and two for men — where you can enjoy five different kinds of showers with various scents, sounds and lighting. The water pressure also varies to mimic different scenarios, such as an Arctic mist, an island storm and a tropical rain. Even the steam rooms have an extra-special touch, with aromatic herbal-infused steam and relaxing bench seating. Check out the vitality pool, which is heated to a steamy 104 F. You’ll be in total paradise as the bubbles soothe your aching muscles while you gaze out at views of the Las Vegas Strip.
The Las Vegas spa also offers specialty rooms with exclusive aqua experiences you won’t find at other spas. The coed hammam, which has roots in Turkey, features a steam chamber, experience showers and a heated marble massage table where everyone in your group can get an exfoliating body scrub. The just-for-ladies rhassoul is another one-of-a-kind experience, drawing on a Moroccan healing ritual. Therapeutic clay or mud is applied all over your body and then heated to 100 F to draw out toxins from your body. After about 20 minutes, a fragrant steam is released to moisten the mud, allowing your skin to absorb its minerals. A light shower washes away the mud to complete the relaxing experience.
-
The Spa at Mandarin Oriental Las Vegas does offer a gender choice for your treatment and the helpful staff members should ask you about your preference when booking your appointments. This is a very common request so be sure to let them know which option would make you the most comfortable. The Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star spa will do everything it can to accommodate you and make you feel at ease.
-
The Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star Spa at Mandarin Oriental Las Vegas offers plenty of refreshments during your visit. While you wait in the relaxation room for your spa therapist, you can also enjoy teas and other refreshments. If you book the couples’ spa suites, refreshments are brought to you after your treatments. Lunch is also served as part of the half or full-day spa programs.

The Spa at Mandarin Oriental Las Vegas offers two different body scrub treatments to nourish and smooth your skin. The Quintessence body scrub uses an essential oil blend aimed at restoring your body’s energy levels. The scrub contains ginger, frankincense, mandarin, almond oil and sea salt, which all help to renew dry skin, and we certainly feel more energetic after this delicious treatment.
The Mandarin Oriental’s signature body oil and sea salt make up the Oriental salt scrub. The signature body oil is an invigorating blend of ginger, frankincense and mandarin that works to smooth your skin. Both of the luxurious 30-minute scrubs can be added on to other treatments and cost $85 during the week, $100 on the weekend. -
Men won’t feel left out at the Spa at Mandarin Oriental Las Vegas.
You’ll leave feeling refreshed and less stressed - and ready to hit the casino again. -
Mommies-to-be can expect to be pampered at the Spa at Mandarin Oriental Las Vegas. The pre- and post-natal treatment at the Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star spa is an hour and a half of total bliss. The treatment consists of gentle massage to safe areas, as well as an exfoliation and warm body mask to help tone the skin. Calendula-infused oil, pink clay and nourishing creams are used instead of the typical essential oils. The relaxing treatment concludes with a scalp massage.
The treatment costs $240 on weekdays and $280 on the weekends. Note that you must be past the first trimester for this treatment. -
The specialized facials offered at the Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star Spa at Mandarin Oriental Las Vegas will leave you glowing.
The Spa at Mandarin Oriental Las Vegas offers a couple of treatments to help turn back time. The Time Reversal facial uses an intense vitamin formula to reduce the appearance of fine lines, repair sun damaged skin and improve your overall complexion. That treatment costs $220 weekdays and $260 on weekends. To give the area around your eyes some extra attention, add on the Regenerating and Firming Eye treatment. The hydrating treatment uses vitamin C, green tea and seaweed extract to combat the first signs of aging. The 30-minute add-on costs $65 during the week, or $75 on weekends. You’re bound to look and feel years younger.

The Spa at Mandarin Oriental Las Vegas has a number of signature treatments that make the Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star spa unique.
The Spa at Mandarin Oriental offers the perfect treatment to get you pool ready.

Find inner equilibrium with the Qi Balancing Journey. The three-and-a-half hour treatment will definitely bring balance with a foot ritual, body exfoliation, steam, hot stone massage and body wrap.
If you’ve had to travel far to get to Las Vegas, you’ll want to unwind with the Re-energizing Jet-Lag Experience that includes a muscle-relaxing steam, salt and oil scrub, therapeutic bath, and either an aromatherapy or Thai massage. The three-hour treatment will leave you feeling as good as new even after the longest flight.
You can also choose to have the Mandarin Oriental Signature Spa Experience, which gives you a personalized treatment based on your particular needs. A spa therapist will help you craft a perfect experience just for you. -
The Spa at Mandarin Oriental Las Vegas is the perfect place to relax with a group of friends.

The Spa at Mandarin Oriental Las Vegas offers lunch as part of its indulgent full-day programs. After you’ve enjoyed treatments such as a Thai massage, a body scrub, a relaxing bath, facial and pedicure, you’ll be brought a freshly prepared lunch from the hotel’s pan-Asian MOzen Bistro. (And who wouldn’t be hungry after more than five hours of pampering?) The spa lunches usually consist of healthy choices like salads, wraps, fresh fruit and smoothies — nothing cooked that would leave food odors lingering in the spa. Of course, the Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star spa provides light snacks and refreshments for all its guests in the hallways, locker rooms and relaxation areas. Sip tea and fruit-infused water and nibble on apples and oranges for a satisfying snack.

If you’ve been playing a little too hard in Sin City, you’ll love the Spa at Mandarin Oriental’s Personalized Ocean and Earth body wrap. -

You should let them know about your problem areas, health concerns and any aches you are experiencing. Each treatment will be personalized so you get the most out of your visit.

Mandarin Oriental spas around the world use a signature line of aromatherapy scents based on the five elements found in traditional Chinese medicine. At the Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star Spa at Mandarin Oriental Las Vegas, you can expect to find a rich variety of relaxing scents and oils in the treatments. Each of the five elements — wood, earth, metal, water and fire — has its own special blend made with all-natural ingredients mixed by a master blender. Indulging in the 80-minute Aromatherapy massage is the best way to experience the signature scents. The treatment combines Eastern and Western massage techniques and essential oils to send your mind and body into a state of total bliss.
The sensual three-hour Art of Romance treatment also uses aromatherapy, offering couples a chance to soak in the hydrotherapy bath in water scented with natural essences followed by a customized Aromatherapy massage. There’s a special aromatherapy-based treatment just for men, too: the 110-minute Stress Buster. The treatment starts with an exfoliation and facial massage followed by a body massage that helps relieve stress and tension by combining essential oils, hot stones and touch targeting of the body’s most important energy centers. -
The Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star Spa at Mandarin Oriental Las Vegas is designed to be an oasis of tranquility and quiet, so it's not really a place fo kids. Massages and other treatments are not offered for children as the minimum age to access the spa facilities and fitness center is 18. But teens age14 and up can receive services at the salon if they’re accompanied by a parent or other adult. The salon offers hair cuts from top-notch stylists as well as hair coloring, makeup application, manicures and pedicures, so your young teens can indulge in some pampering even if they’re not old enough for a massage.

Showcasing its therapists’ extensive knowledge of Eastern techniques, The Spa at Mandarin Oriental Las Vegas offers a variety of massages based in ancient Chinese medicine as well as other more modern techniques. The Oriental Essence massage is a spa signature, using essential oils mixed with ginger, mandarin and frankincense to help relieve tension in high-stress areas, like the neck and shoulders. Conducted on a futon mat and while wearing loose clothing, the traditional Thai massage blends acupressure, stretching and gentle rocking motions to lull you in a state of total relaxation, alleviating joint and muscle pain.
The hot-stone massage is based on an ancient Native American healing practice: using heated stones to relieve muscle tension. The Herbal Therapeutic massage is a deep-tissue treatment in which your therapist applies herbal compresses to your body and then uses his or her elbows and forearms to work in a combination of herbs and organic oils. During a traditional Swedish massage, long strokes and firm pressure are used to undo knotted muscle, while the aromatherapy massage combines Eastern and Western massage techniques with essential oils to clear your mind and put your body at peace at this Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star Las Vegas spa. -
Though The Spa at Mandarin Oriental Las Vegas’ spa menu is based in various ancient healing and massage techniques from the East, the spa also incorporates new treatments that change seasonally. In 2012, to mark the Chinese Year of the Water Dragon, the Las Vegas spa offers a special full-body massage that targets the body’s water elements. Your therapist will apply a warm mud mask to your lower back — aimed at keeping your kidneys and bladder healthy — and then work out your stress with a relaxing massage. The Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star spa also has a Double Water Dragon treatment for couples in a luxurious suite, where you and your partner can experience a soothing side-by-side hydrotherapy soak followed by 90-minute massages.
