During your stay at The Umstead Hotel and Spa, there may be a time when you need a massage but can’t muster the energy to head downstairs to The Umstead Spa. In those cases, spa will come to you. In-room treatments are available to guests, but have certain parameters. For example, the massages must be either 50 or 75 minutes long, and it cannot be scheduled during normal spa hours. The Four-Star spa’s treatments also based on availability, so you might need to be flexible when it comes to what types of services you schedule. Keep in mind that you’ll also be missing out on an opportunity to spend time in The Umstead Spa’s soothing treatment rooms — but what you lose in atmosphere, you gain in convenience.

Yes. In-room treatments are available for overnight guests of The Umstead Hotel and Spa, based on availability, and after normal Spa hours only. The Umstead Spa is open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily.
