Inside, the Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star restaurant is a visual masterpiece, with nature-inspired art and pottery. But it's outside where you'll find the best art that nature offers: a gorgeous three-acre lake with a fountain, peaceful woods, lush green lawns, a butterfly garden and a velvety blue-colored swimming pool.

Luckily, it's not hard to take advantage of Herons' views; you can sit at one of several outdoor tables. Or, if the weather drives you back in, take advantage of one of the indoor tables stationed right beside the Five-Star restaurant's floor-to-ceiling windows.

Herons dining room overlooks our expansive terrace and surrounding three-acre woodland pond. Our terrace stretches the entire length of the hotel and features numerous planting beds, which bloom throughout the year.
