What are five things I should know about The Signature at MGM Grand Las Vegas?
-
With high-limit gaming and huge resorts, a trip to Las Vegas can be overwhelming in itself, so here are five things we think you should know about The Signature at MGM Grand Las Vegas:
1. The Signature at MGM Grand Las Vegas is a non-gaming hotel. If you were hoping to stay in the casino all night and take the elevator up to your room in the wee hours, you still can, but it will be a bit of a longer walk to your elevator bank. There isn’t a casino within The Signature at MGM Grand Las Vegas; but since The Signature is part of the MGM Grand resort, it’s easy to get to the casino in the MGM Grand lobby. And if you like, you’ll be able to bypass the whole casino by just using the entrance through your tower at The Signature.
2. It’s a longer walk to the Strip. Because of The Signature at MGM Grand Las Vegas’s tucked away location, it’s a little bit more removed. Regardless of where you stay in Las Vegas, you’ll spend a lot of time walking. Resorts and hotels here are massive and spread out. Plan ahead before heading to a dinner reservation or show — you want to allow for enough time to get there.
3. The hotel is a subdued and sophisticated. If you’re looking for an over-the-top audio-visual display immediately when you walk into the hotel, you won’t find it here. Instead, you’ll walk into one of the three towers and feel a sense of sophistication. From a quiet pool setting to relaxed lobbies with subdued colors, The Signature is a place where you can relax and enjoy Las Vegas without the crowds and craze of the larger, more flamboyant, resorts.
4. The monorail has a station here. If you’re traveling with a larger group or young kids, the monorail is a great way to get from one end of the Strip to another. A quick walk through The Signature to the lobby of the MGM Grand resort will take you to the Monrail Station, where you can purchase tickets and hop on.
5. Pool options abound. If you’re looking for a wild scene at the hotel’s pool, you’ll have to venture over to MGM Grand Hotel & Casino. The Signature at MGM Grand Las Vegas’s three pools (one for each of the three towers) are only available to guests of The Signature, which make them quiet and relaxing. But MGM Grand’s pool complex is another story, and features five pools (one has a lazy river) and Wet Republic, an adult-only club.
