What are the five best things to order at Dos Caminos?

  1. Dos Caminos offers Mod-Mex cuisine, right around the corner from the guest elevators at the Palazzo, with better prices than you’d expect from a chic restaurant with delicious food. Here’s our list of the five best things to order at Dos Caminos:

    1. Guacamole: Whether you order it for yourself or to share with the table, Dos Caminos’ guacamole is good enough to make a meal out of. Serving sizes for two or four, served four ways: traditional; mango, papaya-habañero; jump lump crab-chipotle; trio-tasting of all three.
    2. Dos enchiladas: You’re probably familiar with enchiladas. Roll roasted chicken and Mexican cheeses in corn tortillas, then add two sauces; a tomatillo verde and a heavier mole poblano, made with chiles, chocolate and nuts.
    3. Skirt steak: Made with black angus beef, the skirt steak is marinated in cilantro and cumin, grilled and served with frijoles borrachos, roasted tomato and caramelized onion salsita.
    4. Suckling pig: The traditional cochinita pibil features a slow-roasted suckling pig, sautéed plantains, habanero pickled onions and achiote sauce.
    5. Margaritas: You almost can’t go to a Mexican restaurant without ordering a margarita — least of all, one with a late-night lounge. Try the frozen prickly pear or the French, made with Patrón silver, Hennessey VS and fresh lime juice.
