If you’re looking for a great meal, your best bet is to visit MGM Grand Hotel & Casino, just a short walk from The Signature at MGM Grand Las Vegas. You’ll find a great variety of cuisines — Mexican, American, Chinese, Japanese, Italian, French, Creole.
MGM Grand is home to the superlative Five-Star Joël Robuchon, where you can have a meal of a lifetime from the famed French chef. Go all out and order the 16-course menu degustation or enjoy his cuisine at his less formal L’Atelier de Joel Robuchon, located right next door.
Another super chef, Tom Colicchio of Top Chef, also has two restaurants in the MGM Grand Hotel & Casino — upscale steakhouse Craftsteak and gourmet sandwich shop, ‘Wichcraft. At Craftsteak, you can order all types of steaks, seafood and meat dishes and sides including plenty of flavorful veggies from regional farmer’s markets. ‘Wichcraft features delicious sandwiches with premium meats and cheeses on artisanal breads.
You’ll find a handful of other great restaurants too, including two from acclaimed seafood chef Michael Mina — Nobhill Tavern and Seablue. Nobhill Tavern shows off Mina’s delicious American tavern food. It’s a relaxed restaurant and a good spot to grab cocktails. Here, you can try his popular Lobster Pot Pie and Nobhill Cable Car cocktail. Seablue focuses on fresh seafood and shellfish served in Mediterranean styles along with oak wood-fired steaks.
You don’t have to do to NOLA to sample Emeril Lagasse’s cuisine. Emeril’s New Orleans Fish House is in the MGM Grand. Head to this fun spot for some of Emeril’s signature dishes, such as his barbecued shrimp.
Wolfgang Puck is a well-known name in the U.S. and you can enjoy his recognizable cuisine at the Wolfgang Puck Bar & Grill. It’s a casual spot to fill up on some comfort foods.
If Italian food is what you crave, Fiamma Trattoria is a romantic spot with red and orange mood lighting that serves up fresh homemade pastas from gnocchi to fettuccine, fresh seafood, meat and delicious Italian desserts.
If it’s Asian food that you desire, the funky Shibuya will please with sushi and sake. There are more than 125 sakes to try here, along with three private labels. This is a fun spot for groups, especially if you want to get the party started early. For traditional Chinese food, Pearl offers cuisine from the Canton and Shanghai provinces.
