Park Hyatt Toronto is Toronto’s only hotel with a rooftop bar and patio, offering a stunning view of the city skyline. The Roof Lounge was built in the 1930s and drinks have been made and served by the same bartender, Joe Gomes, for 50 years. The Forbes Travel Guide Four-Star hotel also has two special rooms, the Pink Room and the Blue Room, that were designed by Sarah Richardson for Breast Cancer and Prostate Cancer awareness. As their names suggest, the rooms are filled with pink and blue décor. In 2011, 10 percent of the Pink Room proceeds in May supported the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation. In previous years, similar percentages have been donated during breast or prostate cancer awareness months, showing that luxury Toronto hotel isn’t just about bottom lines.
